3D - Web Application Developer
Salary: Up to $125,000

Overview
I'm currently working with a company specialising in 3D analytical software, Data, AI & Cloud solutions across the Electrical Engineering sector as they expand their teams due to high growth. They are looking for a Web Application Developer to design and build next-generation, 3D-enabled web applications. This role blends strong 3D/graphics expertise, full-stack engineering, and modern UI development. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver performant, intuitive, and visually compelling 3D experiences that address user needs and support business goals.
Responsibilities:
Full-Stack Development
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications, including front-end, back-end services, and APIs.
- Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions deployed to a cloud environment.
- Implement and integrate APIs with reliability, observability, and performance in mind.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, and operational best practices.
UI / Front-End Engineering
- Build modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
- Develop clean, reusable, and testable UI components.
- Collaborate with designers to achieve high-fidelity implementations, consistent interaction patterns, and strong usability.
- Continuously improve UI performance and user experience.
3D Design
- Design and implement interactive 3D features and components using WebGL/OpenGL and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., Three.js).
- Translate 3D workflows, objects, and interactions into intuitive user experiences in collaboration with product and design teams.
- Optimise 3D rendering performance, memory usage, and application responsiveness across browsers and devices.
- Partner with domain specialists (e.g., CAD, photogrammetry, digital twins) to model and visualise complex real-world objects and environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 1+ year of professional experience building and deploying full-stack web applications in a cloud environment.
