Salary: £45,000.00 to £50,000.00
Location: Manchester
Hybrid - On site 1 day a week.

Looking for a technical role that blends data analysis, HR reporting, and systems management? This company is seeking an experienced professional to ensure HR systems and data reporting are optimised, accurate, and strategically aligned. Work with cutting-edge tools like Power BI and Workday, collaborating across HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and support process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and audit HR data integrity across reporting outputs and systems, troubleshooting inconsistencies.
- Support the administration, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of HR systems and associated processes.
- Analyse HR data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for insight-driven recommendations.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance HR dashboards, management reports, and system-based reporting tools.
- Work collaboratively to understand reporting and system requirements and deliver effective data support.
- Contribute to HR projects, system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Create and maintain databases, Power BI reports, and system outputs to enable continuous improvement and timely updates.
- Stay up to date with the latest HR analytics best practices and advise on enhancements to reporting and analytics methodologies.
Experience & Skills
- Proficient in data visualisation using Power BI.
- Hands-on experience with statistical modelling and descriptive statistics (advantageous).
- Advanced MS Excel skills; ability to manipulate large data sets with strong analytical capability.
- Knowledge of HR analytics, HR systems, or a similar capacity with an understanding of HR processes, data, and systems.
- Confident with HR information systems, databases, and reporting tools (including Power BI and system administration/configuration).
- Ability to design, maintain, and improve dashboards and system reporting tools.
- Experience interpreting complex data and translating insights into actionable outcomes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey technical detail in an accessible format.
- Experience with Workday HR system is essential, alongside a strong interest in broadening HR systems knowledge.
- Customer-focused and able to deliver high levels of service in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality outputs.
- Comfort working independently or collaboratively, and delivering to strict deadlines.
